about us Dear friends and customers, just a few words about how it all began.  In 1985 I completed my training as a violin maker in Luby u Chebu. I then took up an apprenticeship as an instrument maker in Hradec Králové, which I finished in 1988. Three years earlier however in 1985, I had already constructed my first five-string banjo, which was probably the first tell-tale step away from my future career as a violin maker. Since that time, I have left behind me several dozen five-string, tenor, and plectrum banjos, not to mention countless mandolins. I hope that you will like the instruments from my workshop, and that you will always be satisfied with them in every respect.
